This is my story

When I was in middle school, I read about one book every day. Because I was choosing my reading material. When I was in high school, I started a creative writing club, class, and publication. But I refused to read assigned books.

​

When I went to college, I wanted to take anatomy but was told I had to take biology first. I didn't want to learn biology. When I went to massage school, I was required to take advanced anatomy classes without taking biology. 

​

I circled around from east to west coast in search of food forests, meditation communities, and mentors who could teach me the skills I was hungry to learn. From permaculture to precalculus. From Sanskrit to self-publishing.

 

I founded The Music Mentor to assist nontraditional learners who benefit from individualized instruction. Let's play. Imagine. Organize those ideas. Develop that process. And explore the infinite terrain of language and sound.
